Honeywell Fresh Breeze Tower Fan Review (B000E13ERQ)

The Honeywell Fresh Breeze tower fan is a 3 speed digital fan with a remote control. It has an ionizer too that cleans the air it circulates. It has powerful turbo wind blades to get air circulated more than other tower fans. The fans can be set to shut off in 2, 4, or 7 hour intervals. It has 3 cooling speeds with infra-red technology to let you control the fan with the remote control.

You can tilt the head to control wind direction. It has strong motor but operates quietly. People with allergies will like the ionizer that screens out pollen and dust. The unit also has an LCD display and easy to use buttons. The thermostat is also programmable. The filters are washable so you don’t have to keep purchasing disposable filters.

The remote control has a built-in flashlight for convenience. The Honeywell Fresh Breeze tower fan oscillates for better air distribution. The fan measures 10.8 inches x 8.2 inches x 32.8 inches and weighs about 12 pounds. The package comes with the tower fan and remote control.

Pros

One buyer was very specific in his review. He said that the fan pushes out a lot of air compared to other tower fans. He said he gets a nice breeze 25 feet away from the fan. He also said that the fan is slim and does not use up a lot of space. It also looks nice, not bulky and ugly like other tower fans. The design is very streamlined. He also said the remote with the flashlight was also a very handy extra feature.

Another person said that the fan has a wider oscillating range than other tower fans, about 180 degrees. Another feature that most users like is the washable filter that cleans the air of pollen and dust. It is great for people who have allergies. A number of people also liked the force of the wind produced by this fan. It is much stronger than most tower fans.

Cons

One user said that the “breeze feature” was a bit annoying because of the fluctuating noise the fan makes when the breeze gets stronger and then softer. The same user also said that the remote does not work well if the fan is oscillated. There are certain positions that are more ideal for the remote to work.

A number of users also said that the lower level of the fan makes it hard for air to reach a higher part of your body. One buyer complained that the motor broke after about a month. Another said that the parts broke while she was putting the fan together.

One review mentioned that the stand was unstable. It is not an ideal tower fan if you have toddlers around who can accidentally topple over the fan. One person also said that the upper part of the fan broke off from the rotating base, which basically made it impossible to use.

Basically, the Honeywell Fresh Breeze tower fan is a reasonably process fan considering it is much better than other tower fans like it. The wind is strong enough to reach across a large room. It cleans the air of pollutants, and looks great too. The 3 speeds make it perfect to use in any season.
