Pros
Nearly all the buyers extolled the Toshiba for it’s stunning color and sharp images. They also mentioned the easy set-up.
One easy to use feature that was appreciated was the 3 “Theatre” modes, which when set to automatic, recognizes the correct aspect ratio of whatever you are watching to make the most of the massive 37 inch screen.
The amount of available connection also make this an attractive choice for many, as well as the fact that this is a fantastically price HDTV compared to other Tvs with similar features.
Cons
One user complained about the fact that the remote control has to be pointed accurately at the screen in exactly the right way, otherwise it doesn’t work. A bit annoying to say the least!
Another issue that some buyers had was with the stand. They said that it was quite flimsy, and would certainly not be recommended if children or pets were likely to bump into it.
As with many Tvs, some people feel that the audio quality is not up to scratch. They feel that the sound is flat and “tinny”.
One or two individuals said that the audio connections were not standard – one person had an older stereo system that was not compatible, and one wanted to hook up her Toshiba laptop to the TV, but this also was not compatible.
